Managing Connections

Create a Connection

You may create an unlimited number of Connections of any type. Creating a Connection starts with choosing a type and setting a name. Configuring a Connection depends on the Connection type's available options.

To create a new Connection:

1. Click on Connections in the navigation sidebar
2. Click the "Add Connection" button
3. Select the type of Connection you'd like to configure
4. Provide a name for the Connection
5. Complete the Connection configuration by updating settings as shown on the screen
6. Click "Create Connection"

Connections are available for use immediately.

Update a Connection

You may update a Connection at any time. A Connection's available options are dependent on the Connection type.

Updating a Connection will cause any Sources, Destinations, or other components utilizing the Connection to immediately begin using the updated configuration.

To update a Connection:

1. Click on Connections in the navigation sidebar
2. Click the "Add Connection" button
3. Select the name of the Connection you'd like to update
4. Select the Settings tab
5. Modify the fields of your choice and click Save Connection to finish
